The summer sale is happening in the studio this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and a flock of birds has come to roost! Here's a sneak peek at a few of them:

Glass artist Kelly Boverman is back with a new series 

of her cheerful little bird garden ornaments

Ceramic sculpter Elisabeth Cook Sullivan has

studied her Audubon bird book and captured the essence of

a large variety of feathered friends,

from chickadees to snowy owls.

Artist and cellist extraordinaire Lori Presthus paints exquisite birds in egg tempera,

and also has a gorgeous line of jewelry

 featuring her birds and flowers.

Stop by this weekend for some bird watching!

Darris has been busy!

Good news, pottery fans! Darris Dietz has been back in his studio throwing pots like crazy...and he'll be at the Summer Sale next weekend. Come for the preview Friday evening from 6:00 - 9:00 for the best selection, and a chance to meet the artist!

Guided by multi-talented artist, urban farmer, and chicken aficionado Maggie Kearns-Willbach, you'll learn the basics of needle felting by making a cute little birdie similar to the one shown above. 

This is a great class for a group of crafty friends to take together.
We'll even have treats to nibble and drinks to sip.

(additional $5 materials fee payable to instructor at beginning of class)

Saturday Night Doodle Fest! 

Join us for the first in a series dedicated to jumpstarting your creative spirit.

In this workshop, artists and non-artists alike will learn how doodling and noodling around not only helps stimulate the creative juices, but how it has also been found to help us improve our concentration, listening and recall skills.  We'll provide all the materials you'll need, but feel free to bring your favorite doodle pen or pencil.

We'll have sparkling cider, wine and goodies to nibble, tunes and fun conversation.
